
For the sixteenth time since the adoption of the document, the Federal Assembly has amended the Constitution of the Ashukov Federation.
Constitutional Amendment XVI, proposed by Culture Minister, Chairman of the ACB and Delegate of Mouzilo Emmanuel Tsompanoglou, removed the national Coat of Arms from the National Flag, thereby making the National Flag a simple vertical tricolour of blue, red and white.
The changes to the Flag have been the first of their kind since the Flag was adopted on 24 May 2013. The text of the Act is as follows:

I. SHORT NAME
This Act may be referred to as the Constitutional Amendment XVI.II. AMENDING ARTICLE SIX
The text of Article Six is hereby amended to the following:
“The National Flag of the Ashukov Federation is a vertical tricolour of blue, red, and white. The State Flag of the Ashukov Federation is the National Flag with the Coat of Arms of the Ashukov Federation in the centre.”
III. EXECUTION OF THIS ACT
This Act shall enter into force upon the approval of the President of the Ashukov Federation.
